Craig Albert Chesney, 55, from Hackettstown, NJ, died on Tuesday, December 16, 2014 at home in peace. A memorial visitation will be held at Cochran Funeral Home, 905 High Street, Hackettstown, NJ 07840 on Friday, 12-19-14 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM with a service commencing at 6:30.
Craig was born on October 11, 1959, lived in Hackettstown, NJ and later moved to Pennsylvania. He was the son of Joan Chesney and the late Edward Chesney. For the past 28 years Craig owned his own business and passionately created landscape designs tailored to each customer. For the past 15 years his son worked as an integral part of his business.
Craig’s huge smile and hearty laugh reflected his zest for life.He was always there for anyone who needed him.He enjoyed being surrounded by his family and friends especially around his oasis of a pool. He managed to make each weekend not only a fest but a feast as well.He was a Redskins fan no matter what their record. He was always able to stay connected to his family and friends despite not having a Twitter, Facebook or Instagram account (He said his fingers were too large to push the buttons on his phone.)
He is survived by his son Craig Matthew; daughter Kassandra; his beloved partner Michelle and her two sons; mother Joan; Sisters Karen, Kathleen and Cathy; brothers Ed and Ned; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers please send your memorial contribution to Environmental Working Group (EWG) www.ewg.org or Save A Warrior www.saveawarrior.org.
Craig will be remembered as a larger-than-life man not only in size but especially in spirit.

Craig, We are so saddened to hear of your dad's passing. We will never forget the many trips that you both did in coming to the baseball card store and also the many card shows that you participated in Hackettstown. Words can not say, the feeling of loss that we are feeling for him. His wonderful personality and the warm smile that he always had whenever we saw him will never be forgotten. Hopefully, one day we will see you in Hackettstown. Our sincere sympathy to you and all the members of your family. Marilyn and Bob Adams

My condolences to the entire Chesney family, I'm sincerely sorry for your loss. I was one of Craig's classmates in high school. He always had a smile on him and I think that is the one thing I remember most about him.
He was well like by his peers. It breaks my heart that he earned his wings to soon but know that he will make Heaven a much more beautiful place.
