I'm sad to find this out. I didn't know about it when it happened, I heard recently and searched his name. I give my condolences to his family and wife. I remember Dave growing up, he was friends with my brother. The last time I've seen him was living in Leo's building in Hackettstown. I lived there in 2008. He used to wave to me when he drove by. I'm saddened for his misfortune. He had a lot of friends.

Mr and Mrs Bullock and Sharyl I am truly sorry for your loss. My deepest sympathies go out to all of you and your family. For many years after moving from Hackettstown I have wondered how Dave was doing and what he was up to. Unfortunately we didn't keep in touch and that is something I deeply regret. Please know that Dave and all of you are in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. Chris Tracy

So sorry for your loss. Dave was an amazing person. It was impossible not to smile and laugh when you were with him. I was part of a group of people that hung out in Hackettstown. I can't tell you how many times Dave would "Superfly" off of something onto anything really. Mostly tables. He was taken far too soon. Rest easy Superfly. Much love.

David was a fun loving, genuine, and kind person with strong family values. Growing up many summers were spent together doing normal kid stuff without getting in too much trouble. Fondest memories of my cousin are easy to find and what a privilege it has been to know David his whole life. He will surely be missed. Taken from this world far too soon.

To the Bullock family, I am so sorry for your loss. You have been in my thoughts since the day I found out about Dave. Dave is one of the only people I considered a true friend. He was the type of friend that you could not see for years but when you finally ran into him again it's like you just saw him yesterday and nothing has changed. I looked up to Dave when I was younger and continued to throughout our friendship. Dave was forever on my side and continuously stood up for me even when no one else would. Your family is in my thoughts and Dave will never be forgotten, he was one of the good guys.

My sincerest condolences to Dave's immediate family and friends on such a loss. He was a gentle giant with a beautiful soul. I had the pleasure of meeting and working with Dave during my sojourn at Centenary College and am grateful for the friendship gained during my time there. May the beautiful memories help to carry everyone through during this very difficult time. God bless and god speed! Rest in peace Dave....will miss your smile buddy!

Bonnie, We were so very sad to hear about Dave's passing. Last summer we had the pleasure of meeting the two of you while you were walking at Peck's Pond. We own the little log cabin near the lake, and you and Dave were walking by. We all started chatting, and the next thing you know, you guys had stayed for several hours and it was dark outside! We really did enjoy that night very much...The two of you were so very friendly and outgoing! Dave's energy and passion for life were so evident. In just a few hours we learned how much he loved animals, and he spoke to us about feeding the bears in your yard. He also had such a great love for music! We feel truly blessed to have met Dave. He was such a kind soul who was so full of life. We hope you find solace in all of the wonderful memories you shared with Dave during your life together.

I don't know the proper words to say here, but it's with a sad heart I learned of the passing of a brother. Rest in peace, Dave, and my sincere condolences to his family (I'm the guy you used to call "Chris the drunk," Barbara. I'm so sorry for you and for Dave).
