David H. Sherman, 22, of Hackettstown, NJ, died at his residence on Saturday, October 11, 2014.
Born August 1, 1992 in Dover, NJ, David lived in Hackettstown all of his life and was a graduate of Hackettstown High School in 2010.
He is survived by his Mom and Dad, Stephen & Patricia Shaw Sherman of Hackettstown, NJ. Three brothers; Chris Sherman of Pompano Beach, Florida & Michael and Daniel Sherman of Hackettstown. He is also survived by his loving, maternal grandmother, Mona Shaw of Vero Beach, Florida.
Viewing hours will be on Friday, 10-17-14 from 4pm to 7pm at the Cochran Funeral Home, 905 High Street, Hackettstown, NJ, 07840. Funeral services will begin at 7:00pm immediately after the visitation on Friday. Cremation will be private.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you please consider giving to the church that David attended, specifically: The Lord’s Pantry at Trinity United Methodist Church, 213 Main Street, Hackettstown, NJ, 07840. I did not know Dave but my grand daughter did, I recently viewed a video of Dave playing his guitar and singing and he had a lot of talent. I am very sorry for the loss of your son and brother and hope everyones prayers will bring some comfort to you.
