We were saddened to learn from Jeredith about Monna's death. Monna was a very special person, and so talented. When her and Michael lived in Wilmington, NC we spent many hours with them. Behind their house was Monna's little sewing shop. Her dressmaking and creative design work was outstanding. Monna loved to weave baskets (we have several)and she had a talent for growing and caring for Bonsai trees. We will miss her dearly. Our deepest sympathy to the family and friends.

Monna was indeed a smart, creative, and beautiful woman. I enjoyed meeting with her as did the Elders from our church. She was very kind, respectful, and full of life. On behalf of the members of her congregation, we extend our sincerest condolences to the family and will include you in our thoughts and prayers.
