Josephine J. Romano, age 94, of Green Township, NJ died on October 23, 2012 at home surrounded by loved ones. She is predeceased by her parents, 2 sisters; Maryann and Jackie and 1 brother; Thomas.

Born August 23, 1918 in Orange NJ, she lived in Green Township for the past 20 years. Jo was a wonderful first grade teacher for many years and also a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She will be remembered for her loving smile, kindness to others and good sense of humor. Jo will be greatly missed by all that knew her.

She is survived by her husband of 68 years Louis F. Romano; son Louis J. Romano, daughter Eloise Meier & husband Bart; grandchildren Eric Romano & wife Molly, Carissa Romano & husband Jeff Little and Paul J. Meier; great grandchildren, Gabriella, Christian and Alexis Romano.

A private graveside service will be held at Good Shepherd R.C. Church Cemetery, with Father Martin McDonnell officiating. Burial will immediately follow services.
