Elaine Hope Roedel died December 21, 2013. She was 26 Years old.
Elaine graduated from Mount Olive High School and was a member of the World Languages Honor Society and many choral groups. She earned an Associate in Arts degree from County College of Morris, and was an Honor Student at Centenary College, Hackettstown, NJ. She was a licensed pharmacy technician and also worked briefly as an office assistant. Elaine Loved being with family, friends and her dog. She enjoyed cooking and singing.
Elaine is survived by her mother and stepfather Gayle Jean and Patrick Graham of Youngstown Ohio, her father Stanley Roedel and brother Nicholas Roedel of Budd Lake, NJ, Her maternal Grandmother Mary Spencer of Nickerson, Kansas and by many aunts, uncles and cousins. She will be missed by everyone who knew her.
Visitation will be on Friday, December 27, 2013, 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM at the Cochran Funeral Home, 905 High Street, Hackettstown, NJ 07840. www.cochranfuneral.com.
A graveside service and burial will be held at German Valley Rural Cemetery, 80 Coleman Road, Long Valley, NJ 07853 on Saturday December 28, 2013 at 11:00 AM.
In Lieu of Flowers, donations may be made to the ASPCA, 520 8th Avenue, 7th floor, New York, NY 10018.

I will miss you, Elaine-all the talks and laughs. You were an inspiration to so many as to how far one can go riding on the wings of faith and good works. Your family is in my prayers.

Please accept my deepest condolences for your loss. I know you will miss your loved one very much, but as you cherish fond memories. I hope you find comfort in God's reassuring words at Revelation 21:4, 5 which mentions that soon He will end all sickness, death, pain and sorrow. What a wonderful day that will be!
